Atlanta Synthpop powerhouse Frisky Monkey is here with an absolute cornucopia of remixes from a wide variety of artists focused around their full length album, "Misadventures of a Misguided Monkey". The talent on display here is immense, all coming forward with some mixes that are beyond stellar, all complimenting the sounds from the original, all letting the stellar vocals come through, accentuating what makes Frisky Monkey one of the most unique Synthpop acts in the scene right now. The tracks cover all kinds of sounds and moods; from poppy to dark, and from synthwave, to chiptune, to goth, just to name a few. The collaboration between all the acts here is absolutely something to behold, and is an example of what happens when the scene works each other for the love of the scene. After listening to this initially, I went back and listened to the original album that the remixes came from, and these set of remixes are a perfect companion piece; accentuating everything great about the original and letting some great acts flex their strengths. This is not only a great collection of remixes, it is a great album in it's own right. make sure to check this out as soon as you can, you will not regret it.
